The bottom tab bar has four tabs: Capture, Contacts, Events and Data. The event selector at the top sets which event you are working in.
1. Create or join an event
- Create: Open Events, enter a name (and optionally a location), and tap create. The new event is selected automatically and you become its first crew member.
- Join: A colleague sends you an invite (see below). Open the link while signed in. After you join, the app switches to that event.
2. Capture a badge
- On Capture, tap the photo tile and take a picture of the badge.
- Check the fields. Fix anything wrong. AI results may arrive a moment after saving, so you can also correct them later from the contact.
- Add a note, using the dictate button if it is shown. Tick the follow-up box if the person is worth chasing, and say why.
- Tap Save & next. The form clears, ready for the next person.
If you have no connection, the capture is saved on your phone. The header shows Offline and how many captures are waiting to sync. They upload automatically when the network returns.
If the person is already on the event's list, a dialog shows the existing record and its earlier notes. Choose to open the existing contact, or save the capture as a new one anyway.
3. Work the contact
Open Contacts and tap a person. Contacts are grouped by company, and each row shows follow-up stars, LinkedIn status, extraction status and a note count.
In the detail screen you can:
- See who captured the contact and view the badge photo (you can delete the photo on its own).
- Watch extraction status. If it failed or was skipped, tap Extract now to retry.
- Edit fields, toggle follow-up, and tap Save changes.
- Read and add notes, and reply to colleagues' notes.
- Copy summary (for pasting into an email or CRM) or Save vCard (for your phone's contacts).
- Delete the contact, which removes its photo too.
4. Find them on LinkedIn
In the contact's LinkedIn section:
- Tap the find button. The LinkedIn app opens with a search for the name and company, falling back to the browser if the app isn't available.
- Find the person and send the connection request yourself, in LinkedIn.
- Return to the contact, paste the profile link (a paste button helps), and tap save.
- Track progress with the status buttons: Not looked up, Profile linked, Invite sent, Connected. Saving a link on a contact that hasn't been looked up marks it Profile linked.
5. Invite your crew
On Events, tap Crew & invite for an event.
- Enter your colleague's email. Every invite is addressed to a specific person.
- The button changes to say what it will do:
- Add to the crew, if the person already has access to the app.
- Invite them to the platform, if they have no account yet. They are sent a set-password email, and the address is shown back to you so you can check it for typos.
- A message that they are already on the crew, if so.
- An invite appears with a QR code and a short code. A colleague standing next to you can scan the QR with their camera, or you can copy the link or code.
- Each invite works once for that person only and expires. The crew window shows when. You can Revoke an outstanding invite at any time.
- While an invite is outstanding, the window refreshes itself, so a used invite disappears and the new member appears on the roster.
The window also reports what happened with platform access, for example if invitations aren't enabled or PM couldn't be reached. Event access and platform access are separate. A platform problem does not cancel the event invite.
6. Export after the event
Open Data and choose CSV, vCard or JSON. Exports cover every event you are on the crew of. The CSV includes who captured each contact and their notes. The same screen shows the app's plain-language privacy statement.
