Standalone apps vs. platform features. An idea is either its own deployable application or a bundle of features built into an existing app. Platform-feature ideas show a ⚙ Platform badge and are not provisioned as separate apps.
Automatic system features. New standalone-app ideas automatically receive three standard features: usage telemetry, an on-demand feedback button, and a prompted satisfaction rating. Platform-feature ideas do not.
Automatic values. RICE scores, FEAT-#### feature codes and AMD-… amendment codes are generated by the app. You cannot set them by hand.
Deletes are recoverable. Ideas and features are soft-deleted, so they can be restored.
AI depends on configuration. AI features need an AI key set up by an administrator. If the AI cannot answer, you will see an error rather than a suggestion. Always review suggested scores and market sizes before saving.
Release does not close amendments. Releasing a version never changes amendment statuses. It reports how many amendments were shipped in that version and how many are still open.
