Things to know

  • Shared, not anonymous. Contacts, companies and notes belong to the event. Every record shows who captured it, and notes show their author.
  • Events you aren't on are invisible. An event you are not a member of does not appear and cannot be opened.
  • Check low-confidence fields. Badges are photographed under hard conditions, and the app marks fields it was unsure of. Event names and booth numbers printed on a badge are not meant to be taken as a company.
  • Dialogs don't close by accident. Tapping outside a dialog does not dismiss it. Use the × button or the dialog's own buttons.
  • Notifications are selective. The crew is not told about every scan. Notifications cover flagged follow-up leads, crew joins (to the creator) and mentions in notes.
  • Badge photos are private. They are only reachable by signed-in crew of that event, and are removed after the retention period shown on the Data tab. You can also delete them any time.
  • Dictation depends on your browser. The dictate button only appears if your browser supports speech input, and it listens for English. You can always type instead.
  • Errors are shown. If something fails, such as creating an event or an expired session, a message appears on screen. If your session has expired, reload and sign in again.
  • You can leave feedback from the header if the feedback button is available, and sign out from the same bar.
